I didn't really like this season either. Sure, the acting and story line is better, and some of the characters have actually stuck to one personality, but the others are all over the place. It's pretty much the same drama as the first season, Dan torturing Deb, Lucas being an ass, Nathan being an ass, Brooke being a horny slut, but still nice, and Peyton being the melo-dramatic person she is.
I would rate this 6.5 naked Chad Michael Murrays / 10 naked Chad Michael Murrays.
Also, I forgot to say in the Season One recap, but Peyton loves music, she has millions of records, and she is a really good artist.
Season Two recap coming soon
One Tree Hill
On this blog, I will be doing Season Recaps, and how I feel about seasons. For big episodes, I will be doing there own blog post, same for all the episodes of this new season.

Season One Recap.
So, here is every thing that went down in season one of One Tree Hill.
The season opens with Lucas and Haley, two best friends who aren't really noticed, but they are fine the way things are, and the entire show after wards - and I mean every season - follows with Lucas and Nathan and basket ball. None of this could have happened with out Dan and his horny-ness.
Dan Scott
When Dan was a teenager he was a high school basket ball star, with the highest record, that he would soon hang over his son, Nathan's head. Dan was in love with a girl named Karen Roe, and they had all these plans to get married, etc, but when Dan gets Karen pregnant with Lucas Scott in senior year, he leaves her for college. There, he meets Deb. After getting her pregnant with Nathan, and having a knee injury that destroyed his basket ball career, Dan and Deb went back home to Tree Hill. Since then, Dan has avoided Lucas, dis-owning him and never acknowledging him as his son. He focus' on Nathan, trying to make him the best basket ball player he can be, by badgering, bullying and yelling at him every second.
Deb Scott
Dan's wife who, at the beginning of the season, isn't home due to business. After a few episodes, she comes home to battle Dan for Nathan's attention. When she realises how bad of a guy Dan is, she opts for a divorce, but Dan just decides to make her life a living hell. At the end of the season, Dan is about to sign the divorce papers when he has a heart-attack. Deb finds him in time and calls 911
Karen Roe
After Dan left, Karen opened her own cafe and raised Lucas, with the help of Keith Scott, Dan's brother. Nothing much going on in this category..
Keith Scott
Keith owns his own auto shop - with the help of his nephew Lucas - and helps Karen any way he can in raising Lucas. Keith is pretty much Lucas' father, and is in love with Karen, even though the feelings aren't mutual. He isn't close to Nathan or Dan, but him and Dan seem close enough.
Whitey Durham
Whitey is the basket ball coach for the Tree Hill Ravens. He coached Keith and Dan, and is now coaching Nathan in his high school years, and later in the season, Lucas too. He isn't only a coach, but a mentor with all the right things to say. He hates Dan, who is always trying to bring him down, but loves Keith.
Nathan Scott
At the beginning of the season, Peyton and Nathan are dating, unhappy and the biggest dick ever. His soul destiny is to bring down Lucas, who he thinks is trying to "steal" his life. He has the stress of Dan always down his back, no matter how good he plays, the stress of the scouts he's trying to impress and with his mom never home because of business, he has no one to turn to. After him and Peyton break up, Nathan spends the rest of time finding ways to bring Lucas down even more. Eventually he finds a way.. Haley James, Lucas' best friend. He goes to her for tutoring to mess with Lucas, but ends up falling in love with her. Nathan goes from bad guy to good guy, and at the season finale him and Haley get married.
Haley James
Best friend of Lucas, Haley is a quirky, nice girl who volunteer's at the tutor centre. When Nathan comes to her for tutoring, she says no at first, but then decides to do it, if he agrees to leave Lucas alone. After a while, Haley falls for him, but refuses to have sex with him, because she wants to wait until marriage. Then they get married.
Peyton Sawyer
Peyton starts out the season dating Nathan, and being the biggest cheer leader bitch. Then we find out it's because her mom died, and after that she is nice. Her and Nathan break up, and she falls for Lucas, but after he gets too serious, she backs out. Once she decides she wants to be with him, it's too late, because he is dating Brooke Davis. She can't hide her feelings any more, and while Brooke and Lucas are dating, she and Lucas share a few kisses. They are going to tell Brooke, but then some thing happens to Lucas, and after a little bit longer, Brooke finds out on her own. Peyton loses her best friend, but after a little bit, they come together again.
Brooke Davis
Brooke starts the season off as a slut, but when she falls for Lucas, she turns into a... decent slut. She falls hard for this boy, and tries to be intelligent for him by reading smart -like books and trying to imnpress him by telling him what songs remind her of him. After Lucas gets into a car accident, she sees him at Peytons house on Peyons webcam, and hears them talking about telling her the truth. She realizes that Lucas was cheating on her the entire time, with her best friend. She blocks both of them out, has a pregnancy scare, but then they all become friends again.
Lucas Scott
Lucas wasn't popular, and only played basketball at the River Court. After Keith brings Whitey to show him how good Lucas is, he gets a spot on the basketball team. It's hard at first, but after a while - because of Haley's help - Nathan finally lays off. He becomes little Mr. Popular, starts dating Brooke, cheats on her, has sex with some one else, named Niki, but then finally redeems himself. At the end of the season, he says he wants to go to Charleston with Keith, to "find himself" and as he is about to leave, he goes to say bye to Haley, only to see that she has had sex, after getting married.
SMALLER ROLES :
Jake Jigousky
When Lucas first joins the basket ball team, Jake is the only nice person to him. After he starts missing practice and showing up late, we found out it was because he has a baby with Niki. Niki has been gone all of Jenny's life - the baby - and now she came back for joint custody. Jake refuses, but Niki wont stop, so he asks Peyton for help. She says she has a way, and he leaves with Peytons dad to some where I forget.
"Mouth"
Mouth is a dorky aspiring sports announcer who announces the Ravens basketball games and the games at the River Court. He is friends with Lucas, Haley, all the guys at the River Court and soon afterwards, every one else.
"Skillz"
Skillz is Lucas' best - guy - friend who plays with him at the River Court.
That is all I can think of. Sorry if it isn't enough for you, I haven't seen them in a while

Season One, how I felt.
I feel like this season gave the show no justice, at all. Sure, they were just getting comfortable with the roles, but I just don't think it had the best story line to reel in fans. The only drama was the love triangle between Lucas, Peyton and Brooke, and all that did was make Lucas seem like an ass.
Besides that, there was always the Dan Scott son triangle, but you can only take that to a certain level. And it felt like that characters never really had one role. Nathan was an ass, then a good guy, then an ass. Lucas was a loner, then popular, then a cheater. Peyton, a bitch, then an emotional wreck, then some one that couldn't love any more. I feel like that only people that stuck to their "mood" were Haley, and even she was every where, and Dan.
Now, I am not saying I didn't love the season... I am just saying that I am glad I started out watching the show in season 3, or else I probably wouldn't be here right now.
There were some high lights about the first season, like the whole Jake/Peyton/Niki thing. that kept me entertained, and I was hoping that Peyton and Jake would become a couple, but then Niki comes along and ruins everything.

Hell-a awesome Introduction.
Hey OTH fans! How are you? Well, I'm good. I am a huge One Tree Hill fan, and I couldn't just watch it, I needed to do more than that. That is where this blog comes in. I will recap every season - not every episode from the earlier season, just the entire season, and maybe some big episodes - and then every episode from the new season.
Starting with the new season, you will read about how the stars have grown. I will also add pictures/clips and how I rate the season/big episodes. And quite possibly do a post of individual characters. Well enjoy :)
